Comida e informação para todos: as redes sociais podem contribuir para a aprendizagem social do sujeito?
Food and information for everyone: can social networks contribute to the individual’s social learning?
Abstract
Considering the current scenario of digital communication, with the popularization of websites, applications and digital social networking platforms, this article proposes to investigate whether digital social networks can provide opportunities for media literacy and social learning, contributing to the formation of a subject autonomous, critical and participatory. We propose the case study of the Instagram profile @comidasaudavelpratodos, by journalist Juliana Gomes —an online space not only for disclosing recipes, but also for promoting the debate on healthy eating and access to information related to the topic. In the end, we concluded that the features offered by the Instagram platform collaborate to encourage social learning for the subject, who, rather than learning how to do it, learns to be and become healthier, as well as more autonomous and participatory in digital social networks.
